New Online Clinton/Obama “Urge-to-Merge” Bumper Stickers, Lapel Pins, Arm Bands, Car Tattoos, Web Site Banners etc.

RealDemocracyInAmerica.com introduces today a way for the American Voter to Urge Senators Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton to CEASE their petty bickering and UNITE their two campaigns into one, thus creating an “Unstoppable” ticket in November.

Santa Cruz, CA March 1, 2008 – Every day we are forced to watch the sad and pathetic exchanges of character assassination by the two Democratic candidates for President of the United States.  The opposition will most assuredly use some of the ammunition we are giving them to defeat whoever is the Democratic nominee for President in the November election.  Thus a way must be found to force the two candidates to stop their petty in-fighting, jockeying for position and unite their two campaigns into one.  As President Bill Clinton has noted recently, “The combination of the two into one ticket would be UNSTOPPABLE.”

Our new website:  ‘http://www.realdemocracyinamerica.com’ delivers to the American public several unique and powerful ways to urge the two to merge.  Clinton/Obama bumper stickers, lapel pins, banners, arm bands, car tattoos, etc. can be utilized to bring publicity to the fact that the two leading candidates would be the only sure-fire way to guarantee victory for the Democratic Party in the race for the White House in November, 2008.

Recent polling has suggested that either candidate versus John McCain individually would be in a statistical ‘Dead Heat’ which means that it would a mere coin-toss as to who would win the Election in November, if they ran as individuals, no matter who they picked for Vice President.  But the same polling also tells us that when combined, the ticket of Clinton/Obama or Obama/Clinton would win by a double-digit margin, a landslide, thus giving no realistic chance for the Republicans to retain power in the National Government beyond the Bush Administration.

“This is far too serious and dangerous a time for this country” said Michael Mathiesen, chief architect of Real Democracy in America.  “If we are forced to suffer through another eight years, or even four more years, of a Republican administration, all hope for the American middle class will be dashed forever, since John McCain has promised no substantive changes.  Since John McCain has vowed to keep things the same as what the Bush Administration has done to us, we have reached this country’s greatest fork in the road.  We either continue on this path toward bankruptcy and economic decline, world wide panic and destruction or we forge a new path toward a Real Democracy, a place where the people of this country are returned to sovereignty, the reversal of the Bush policies of treachery, spying, torture, invasion, overspending, the tyranny of the oil companies, and a return to this nation’s path of glory, not only for us, but for the entire planet.  That much is at stake.  We cannot take the chance of flipping a coin by allowing a debacle in the democratic party as we had last time with the Kerry Nomination.  We the People must take control and demand that they unite so that there is no chance of failure.”

When asked how this bumper sticker campaign would make such a difference, Mr. Mathiesen replied.

“One of our bumper stickers and arm bands says, ‘Give me Clinton/Obama or NOBODY’, states it pretty forcefully how important we all feel in the democratic party that there must be no chances taken that the Republican Party can dominate the destiny of American people any longer.  If we all make that kind of statement publicly, then, more and more pressure will be put on Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Obama to put aside personal pride and combine for the common good of this country.  This would be the true patriotic thing to do.  They both say they are doing this for the sake of the country, not for their own selfish and personal glory.  Well this is the time for both of them to put up or shut up!”

When asked, ‘Why should Hillary Clinton’s name be on the top of the ticket?’  Why aren’t you promoting Senator Obama for President and Hillary Clinton as the Vice President?’ he replied.

“There are several really strong reasons for this and they are:  First of all, you are really going to get two for one in the Clinton Administration and we have to remember that Bill Clinton was the one who rescued the economy from the Elder Bush’s policies.  Secondly, Hillary Clinton is indeed senior to Barack Obama.  She is 61 and he is only 47.  She has seniority in age.  She also has far more experience than Obama, especially when you realize that her experience also must include Bill’s experience.  Let’s face it, they are not going to just sit there in the White House and ignore each other.’

‘Thirdly, Obama was elected to the United States Senate two years ago, and instead of creating legislation or doing anything measurable, he immediately declared himself candidate for President.  So, seniority, the experience that both she and Bill bring to the table should trump good looks, ambition and great speech writers.  I think we would all agree on that.  Also, there is a video of Senator Obama claiming that he did not want to run initially for President because as he himself admitted, he didn’t have enough experience to be President.  These words are damning.’

‘And, those words are unfortunately on tape.  Two months after making this statement on the steps of the U.S. Senate, he changed his mind and gave in to the urging of friends to run for President.  The McCain campaign has these video tapes of Barack Obama stating that he didn’t feel he was experienced enough to run for President and they know that all they have to do is run these videos in their ads in a few key states.  This is the worst negative any candidate has ever had in the history of politics and the voters would make him pay in terms of votes.  There’s no doubt about that.  The McCain team is ready to pounce!’

‘Sure they have some negatives regarding Hillary that they plan on using in the campaign, if she is the nominee, but there is nothing like this in the archives for them to really count on and all Hillary’s negatives are ancient history, easily disavowed,” Mr. Mathiesen said.

He went on to say, “Finally, it is now extremely urgent that both candidates stop wasting their time, money and resources on charging each other with petty crimes that make no difference, such as the recent publicity about their advisory staff.  They desperately need to conserve their resources, pool their campaign contributions so that all their money can go into advertising the McCain deficiencies, which are many.  They have to get on the offensive or they will forever be on the defensive.’

‘There should be one voice by now taking on the failed policies of Bush and McCain who says he would do everything the same as President Bush from keeping the Bush Tax Cuts for the rich to keeping the troops in Iraq, as he says for one hundred years into the future.  I don’t know about you, but I think most Americans believe that the Iraqi people don’t deserve any further death and disfigurement of our brave and courageous young boys and girls.  This war is bankrupting this nation and anyone who wants to continue down that road to certain failure is amoral, in my book and maybe even a traitor.  No, it’s time for the American people to make certain that this fate cannot and will not happen ever to this great nation!”
