WE THE UNDERSIGNED BELIEVE that NATIONAL BALLOT MEASURES ARE THE ONLY WAY TO HAVE REAL DEMOCRACY IN AMERICA AND WE THE UNDERSIGNED DO HEREBY DEMAND THAT THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY SUPPORT IN 2008, THE PLATFORM PLANK of "NATIONAL BALLOT MEASURES through the 28th Amendment to the u.s. constitution.  WE believe it is time to enable THE PEOPLE OF THese united states TO VETO SOME OF THE crazy and ill-conceived IDEAS COMING FROM WASHINGTON AND RECOMMEND BETTER SOLUTIONS from the people BY PLACING THEM ON THE FEDERAL BALLOT AND ALLOWING THE MAJORITY TO DECIDE them.    

The 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution - Enabling Legislation for National Ballot Measures.

"Section 1. The right of citizens of the United States to vote on issues they deem the most urgent and of national importance through the process of National Ballot Measures which must pass by a two-thirds majority of voters, and which qualify for the National Ballot by the obtaining of signatures of at least two percent of the registered voters in at least a simple majority or twenty-six (26) of the states, or through a National Referendum placed on the ballot by a vote of three fourths (a 75% Majority) of Congress shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state.
