YOU MUST SUPPORT OBAMA BECAUSE . . .

I’m not making this up folks.

Over the months of this very exciting political year we have been touting the virtues of Obama and the Terrible TRUTH about Senator McCain in hopes of avoiding what happened in the last election where we GOT STUCK with 4 MORE YEARS of the Republcan Cronism, Neo-Naziism regime.

So, today, after seeing that OUR READERSHIP STATS are SKYROCKETING, I thought it important to give you all a MID-COURSE correction because some of the things we say here could be understood in the wrong light.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m fully aware that the Demos are only slightly better than the Recaps. That’s just based on TRUTH and we WORSHIP TRUTH HERE. You may be aware from previous blogs that Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House and the Demos most influential woman other than Hillary just GAVE THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION EVERYTHING THEY ASKED FOR IN TERMS of their EFFORT to STEAL our FREEDOM, OUR MONEY, OUR LIVES for their personal benefit.

So, the DEMOS, at least those that are in OFFICE are just as guilty as the Recaps.

THE ONLY REASON WHY WE ARE SUPPORTING OBAMA OVER McCAIN IS BECAUSE THE OBAMA CAMP HAS ASSURED ME THAT PRESIDENT OBAMA WILL SUPPORT AND HELP LAUNCH – NATIONAL BALLOT MEASURES, WHERE AND WHEN REAL DEMOCRACY WILL FINALLY BE COMPLETELY DELIVERED TO THE AMERICAN SYSTEM OF POLITICAL DECISION MAKING.

Very little of what Obama is speaking about can occur and he knows it. Thanks to the Bush Administration, this country is bankrupt and so we cannot afford any new social programs and will be very hard pressed to continue the ones we have in place now. Taxes will have to be raised even though both candidates are promising to lower them. We all know that this is just campaign rhetoric. in order to pay off the veterans returning from Iraq will take a staggering TWO to THREE TRILLION DOLLARS, money we simply don’t have the ability to print more debt. So, that means more taxes. But, I do believe that OBAMA will bring the troops home sooner than McCain would and that means less pain at the pump comparatively speaking.

But, more ugently, I am optimistic that the events of the last 8 years have demonstrated to the American People that we need NOT ONLY DIFFERENT PEOPLE in office, we need NEW OFFICES. We need an OFFICE where We the People can gather, DISCUSS with each other our utmost concerns for our nation, COME TO A CONSENSUS on the best way to fix them, AND THEN PUT THE BEST ONES on the BALLOT for approval of the VOTERS.

This is HOW NATIONAL BALLOT MEASURES WOULD WORK, and again, Senator Obama’s camp has signed on to support this RADICAL NEW IDEA. They won’t speak about it OFFICIALLY because it could deny them a victory in November, but I CAN SPEAK ABOUT IT to help force the issue and educate my readers who will be the FIRST TO KNOW.

IN THIS WAY, we will accomplish so much progress it will make your heads spin. I hope you don’t get DIZZY. Here are a few things that I think we could change ALMOST IMMEDIATELY after OBAMA is in the White House and he INTRODUCES us to National Ballot Measures, or Real Democracy.

1. We would make it illegal for anyone to be a LOBBYIST. That would end special legislation that does so much harm to this country.

2. We would make it far more difficult for a Nazi President to ignore the will of the people and wage his own personal little wars and private programs and executive orders which erode our Constitution.

3. We could endorse much different methods of taxing ourselves. A flat tax, a national sales tax, to me and I think most of us far superior to the present method of making us pack up tons of papers and trudging to our accountants office to “Prepare our Taxes.”

4. We will need to tax the wealthiest segments of our society to pay for the Bush Deficits. We could launch a Luxury tax on BIG, GAS GUZZLING taxes, something very favorable to the environment. We could tax DIAMONDS, Caviar, Champagne, YACHTS, Bedrooms that are unused. Etc. We can get innovative and make it far more costly to support the policies of the Recaps, who are hell-bent to destroy our planet in greed and avariciousness.

5. We could pass a law making it illegal to advertise VIAGRA and other E.D. drugs on TV. I hate these things. I have two young daughters and it’s just so annoying when one of these commercials comes on the Tube, I want to throw something at the actors.

6. The Supreme Court just decided that the Constitution protects everyone so that they can own a gun no matter what their intent. So, let’s pass a law that puts a $10,000 fine to carry a gun in any criminal act including a traffic stop. That would make it very difficult for the crooks to get around with guns and harm innocent people, because I don’t know about you, but I see cops stopping nearly everyone for not wearing a seat belt to going too fast, to making illegal turns, etc.

7. Let’s make it very unprofitable for any person or corporation to pollute the air we all are forced to breathe and the water we must all drink. It’s incredible to me that Congress has not passed enough laws and the government agencies don’t enforce the laws on the books so that anyone pouring anything that is not 100% natural into the air or water is not fined and fined heavily and often. That would eventually force the air to be clean and the water potable in this country. Aren’t we all guaranteed at least that much in life?

8. We could pass laws that create tax incentives to drive ELECTRIC CARS and put SOLAR PANELS on our roofs. At the same time, put TAXES and PENALTIES for companies that produce gas powered engines when an electric motor would do and companies that used oil and gas to power their factories when clean solar and wind would do just as well. Don’t we owe this to our planet that is so helpful to us all?

I could go on and on all day with things that need to get done but aren’t getting done because Congress just cares about their own paychecks and retirement plans and the lobbyists bribe them to NOT pass the simple yet effective laws like these above.

We could solve the energy and the housing crisis in two weeks. We could vote ourselves a four day work week, or a raise in min. wages or we could prevent unwise wars or shorten the length of the current one. We could create a National Health Plan. We could build a safer and stronger infrastructure. Better cars, bridges and roads and MORE TRAINS and other mass transit systems.

There is clearly a lack of leadership in this country and not the fault of the PEOPLE themselves. It’s the fault of the SYSTEM that allows only big shots to give us some answers. As a horrifying example, Boston just completed a HUGE TRANSIT SYSTEM and it cost BILLIONS and BILLIONS of DOLLARS and TOOK YEARS and YEARs to complete causing millions of people TONS and TONS of stress and relocation. THEY PRODUCED NOT A SINGLE MILE OF TRACK for a train or bus or any mass transit vehicle. They just made it more possible to add MORE CARS to the roads which equals more pollution and higher cost to the CONSUMERS. When they COULD HAVE spent the money on MASS TRANSIT SYSTEMS like they have in EUROPE, high speed trains and people movers so that FEWER cars would be on the roads and more people would be out of business and dependent on FOREIGN OIL.

It makes absolutely no sense to TRUST JUST A FEW people to make decisions in this modern world where we can OPEN UP the Decision Making PROCESS to MILLIONS.

NATIONAL BALLOT MEASURES do exactly that.

Let’s get on the BUS.  I’m supporting OBAMA ONLY because he has committed to REAL DEMOCRACY IN AMERICA and there is NO REPUBLICAN in the history or future of this country who will do that.  SO, OBAMA’S election is the FIRST STEP.

The Price of Gasoline, the War in Iraq, whether or not we’re going to be able to keep our homes, even what kind of cars we drive should be on the ballot. People like this ARE NOT the kind of people you would trust to babysit your family dog. How can you let them babysit your country?

The Truth is that the Democrats are not much better than the Republicans at guiding this great country through all the modern trials and tribulations that the strongest and greatest nation on Earth is forced to endure because of our greatness. But, it is the greatness of the PEOPLE that makes The United States of America the country it is and always shall be. We must put some of our greatest problems TO THE PEOPLE to suggest NATIONAL BALLOT MEASURES as possible solutions and then allow the Great American VOTERS to DECIDE these issues of greatest impact on our lives.

This is Real Democracy and there is not reason why we cannot have it NOW. Don’t let them BLOCK YOUR RIGHTS to VOTE ON THE ISSUES, not just for Dembos or Recaps.

PLEASE REMEMBER that John McCain is the same Senator John McCain, along with 4 other Senators he also conspired with, who took a bribe from Charles Keating to give his FAILED BANK SPECIAL GOVERNMENT TREATMENT. This should have landed him in Jail at worst and expelled from government at best. Instead the Republicans REWARD HIM with this run for the White House. Just the kind of guy they like, a known crook.
