WE MUST ABOLISH THE POLITICAL SPEECHWRITER

IT IS THE SAME AS FALSE ADVERTISING BUT ON A MASSIVE SCALE

With the latest flap over Barack Obama having used a few words from a speech made by the Massachusetts Governor earlier in the year, it occurs to me that we MUST IMMEDIATELY pass a law that would make it a felony for any POLITICIAN to talk to the public not using his own words. We have been so abused by the politicians who are able to hire great speech writers in order to get elected to office.

If we were able to hear only the thoughts of the candidates, and precluded them from using the thoughts of someone else, perhaps the American people would be able to discern the best candidate and vote accordingly.

Take the case of George W. Bush. He was elected to the most powerful office in the world by using the best speech writers money can buy.

If he were forced to use his own spur-of-the-moment, off-the-cuff remarks would we have been in such a hurry to put this man in this high office and give him the power to screw things up as much as he has?

I doubt that very much and as evidence, I present here a video composed of some of the times that George W. Bush was not able to use a speech writer.

I hope you will be as amused and angered as I am at the way that this person was able to pull the wool over our eyes and get himself elected to the most powerful office in the world.

IN THIS ELECTION YEAR – THIS VIDEO should be REQUIRED VIEWING. Let’s ABOLISH the use of that famous PRESIDENTIAL TELEPROMPTER that is CLEAR so that the TV AUDIENCE CANNOT SEE IT, but which SCROLLS the words for our PRESIDENT and even CANDIDATES to USE to APPEAR to be SOMETHING they are not.

HERE’S THE EVIDENCE:

WATCH THIS NOW. THEN COME BACK – PLEASE AND READ WHY THIS IS NOT FUNNY
