The eventual goal of the Project will be to build out SOLAR-POWERED-ELECTRIFIED Diamond Lanes in cities and towns across America.
THIS to POWER the Fully Electric Car of the FUTURE, that the Detroit Automakers can start to build within weeks of its adoption.
THIS TECHNOLOGY ALSO HOLDS THE SECRET TO THE 2ND PHASE IN THIS PROJECT – MAGLEV USING RARE EARTH MAGNETS

IN MY APPLICATION of this technology – rails are not required. The conducting mechanism is embedded in the roadway surface and in the wheels or drive train of the cars and trucks to produce propulsion, but not to give the vehicle lift and ONLY to PROPEL the vehicle along the road. Thereby eliminating the greatest cost of this system. Levitation is not required or desired for the personal transportation system.
The NEW Manhattan Project would combine this current technology of MagLev with newer discoveries to pave the way to placing the LINEAR MOTOR in the ROADWAY BELOW and adapting the Electric Car of the FUTURE for use with the New Technology.
The graphic above is a Schematic of how we can take MAGLEV Technology and literally REINVENT THE WHEEL.
By placing the MagLev Strip in the Roadway OPPOSITE POLARITY in the WHEEL’S RARE EARTH MAGNETS can be BOTH REPELLED and ATTRACTED in by the Linear Motor and propelled down the roadway. When the VEHICLE DRIVES OFF the DIAMOND LANE, the vehicle uses Batteries Fully Charged by the Roadway to make the rest of the TRIP.
So, in essence, the ROADWAY becomes BOTH the BATTERY and the MOTOR to propel the vehicles of the Future.
THIS NEW PROPULSION SYSTEM could also be adapted later to control all traffic speed and direction of all vehicles on the roads, thus eliminating accidents on the nation’s Freeways and Highways and allowing for the driver to work over the Internet as he traveled as he is relieved of having to pay attention to the road.
In essence, this would be the same level of NATIONAL WILL that we put to work to WIN WORLD WAR II. Only in this case, it would be an open process, not secret, and there would be no Weapon of Mass Destruction at the end, only a WEAPON of MASS CONSTRUCTION.
This massive PUBLIC WORKS PROJECT would create good jobs in the Hi-Tech Industry as well as the Transportation Industry and thus stimulate the economy as NEVER BEFORE.
This proposal is ONLY a thought experiment from one person. If one person can think it this far, a New Manhattan Project composed of thousands of top Scientists from around the world, as well as Engineers from the Industry that created MagLev and other related technologies like Solar, Wind, Biofuels, etc., there is no limit to what may come out the other end.
We may end up reinventing the wheel, the road and the way we solve problems in this country. When you start to reinvent the box and then think outside of that one, the sky’s the limit. Who’s to say, this project doesn’t also end up Reinventing Air Travel as well?
