The Tax Tea Party was a smashing success by anyon’e estimation.
No, the Tea Party did not accomplish what the Boston Tea Party did, at least not yet, and that is establsih a New Revolution against the Tyranny of the KING.
However, it did register in the halls of D.C., that the people are not very happy right now.
So, let’s summarize the last 50 years since WWII the total American History from the taxpayer’s point of view.
1. After WWII, someone decided to hold another war in N. Korea. Even more of our country’s treasure and blood was wasted. The Korean War was never even settled. We still are at war with North Korea and our troops, about 50,000 of them are sitting on the border with South Viet Nam defending the South Korean Regime in case the N. Korean Regime might attack them.
2. This wasn’t enough for our government to waste our blood and treasure on, so when the peace started to settle in on No. Korea, they decided to have a war in VIET NAM. The same excuse was used, the North was attacking the people in the South and we had to go and defend the people in the South. So, we did and this time it ended up costing the American people close to a TRILLION DOLLARS and the cost is still ONGOING due the payment of Veteran’s benefits each year for the last 50 years in the tune of about 100 Billion Per Year.
3. That wasn’t enough for the war mongers, so when the Viet Nam war ended by a few farmers armed with pea shooters against our Phantom Jets, Patton Tanks, Cruise Missiles, Atom Boms, B-52 Bomers, each one costing about 100 MILLION DOLLARS EACH, and the pea shooters defeating us, they decided that we might as well end Civilization as we know it and have an all out war with the SOVIET UNION. That would put a plug in our fortunes and exterminate all intelligent life on the planet, so God intervened and somehow that war was averted, but just by a hair. In fact, there were three or four ocassions when our government or theirs was ready to push the button to end our kind forever on this planet. Like I say, God intervened and put forth a miracle, perhaps the greatest miracle our species has had or ever will have again, and somehow, mainly through the wisdom of Mikhail Gorbachev who decided it would be better to FOLD the entire Soviet System than see the planet destroyed, and World War Three has not yet happened.
4. This wasn’t good enough for George W. Bush, so he tried his best to restart WWIII by attacking Iraq mainly to distracting us from the kill or capture of Osama Bin Laden.
