It’s being reported that more than a MILLION GALLONS OF STINKING CRUDE oil PER DAY is leaking out of that well in the Gulf. That makes it already TEN TIMES worse than the BIG ONE in ALASKA and it’s not even plugged yet. No HOPE of being plugged yet.
Meanwhile we pay the US NAVY about 500 BILLION DOLLARS PER DAY to go steaming around the world all dressed up in their pretty white uniforms like in that song, “IN THE NAVY” and what are we getting for our money?
NOW, what we should do is simply get around a DOZEN OLD NAVY SHIPS out of MOTHBALLS. Float them over to the LEAKING WELL, FILL THEM WITH SAND or CEMENT, Used Computers, anything heavy, and SINK THEM OVER THE WELL. The weight of all that old rusty IRON SHIPS, CANNONS, ANCHOR CHAINS and the ADDED CEMENT will easily PUSH that STINKING HOLE DOWN INTO THE GROUND and CAP IT. At least until BP drills those RELIEF WELLS that are underway, but will not be complete for 6 MONTHS. WE CAN”T LET THAT THING GO SPOILING THE OCEAN over the coming 6 MONTHS. That’s UNACCEPTABLE.
