President Bush honors those who died for his LIES.

Today is my day to have my annual Viet Nam Flashback.  When I watch on TV as President Bush lays wreaths for the soldiers who died for his lies in Iraq today, I am forced to recall another President, another Republican piece of dirt, Richard Nixon, laying wreaths at Arlington National Cemetary who died for his lies about Viet Nam.  In the Viet Nam War, there was no reason for us to go there and yet, somehow, through government incompetence and lies, we lost almost 60,000 really great young men.  Many of them were my friends and I miss them terribly.  

Today, the same thing is happening.  It seems to me that Republican Presidents don’t give a damn for History.  Bush of all people should have been aware of the way that NIXON LIED to get us deeper and deeper into a war that he knew we could not win.  It was a war of attrition.  Whoever lasted long enough by CRUSHING DISSENT at home would be the winner of that war.  The United States LOST that war because Richard Nixon, tied up in the Watergate Scandal, a ridiculous burglary for no sane reason, could not CRUSH the DISSENT at home, of which my voice was one.  And, the war ended and all those young boys died for NOTHING.  Their names inscribed on the Viet Nam War Memorial are a testament to the TYRANNY of this GOVERNMENT over its people.  WE ALL KNEW that this war in VIET NAM was a SHAM.  Like the IRAQ WAR, it was based on false intelligence conjured up by the PRESIDENT with the aid of the Pentagon.  

I saw the SHIPS in the Long Beach Harbor, after they returned from TONKIN BAY.  There was ONE TINY HOLE in the side of our navy ship, a small destroyer, a tin can, as they call it in the Navy, and this ONE LITTLE HOLE in the side of one of our ships is how LYNDON JOHNSON got CONGRESS to AUTHORIZE the WAR in VIET NAM.  Nixon knew it was a PHONY WAR and ESCALATED IT, so both Presidents are to blame for this one.

IN IRAQ, Bush knew that there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.  All the documents uncovered so far, such as the 10 Downing Street Memo, prove that fact.  BUSH, as the British have revealed to us, was going to “fabricate the INTELLIGENCE to FIT HIS DESIRE TO GO TO WAR.”

AND SO, today, On Veterans Day, we all must take a few moments to remember.  We must remember, the poor unfortunate and innocent souls who died believing they were sacrificying for their country, AND, in a way, they have died for their country, because someday, we may all stand as ONE.  PUTTING AN END to SENSELESS and RIDICULOUS PRESIDENTIAL WARS for the sake of personal power and financial gain.

OH YES, President Bush will make BILLIONS from the sales of war materials, via Halliburton and other Republican companies, and from the INSIDER TRADING in the Stock and Oil Markets while his soldiers gave the ultimate sacrifice believing that this President might be telling us the truth.  Truth and President Bush, however, are complete strangers.  

It is always on this day that I become the angriest because I have watched so many countless brave young men and women pay the ultimate price and I see them emerging from hospitals with limbs missing, their courage never waning in their battle for Freedom.  So, I say, let’s not let these brave young men and women die in VAIN, or lose their LIMBS in vain.  Let’s take this day to committ to real Poltical Change so that a TYRANNICAL PRESIDENT can NEVER CAUSE US THIS MUCH PAIN AGAIN for their own personal gain.

We must INCORPORATE this GOVERNMENT, TAKE STOCK in AMERICA and allow the people to VOTE THEIR SHARES.  We must CONTROL our government.  If President Bush has done anything positive for us, it is the fact that he taught us that we’re on our own.  WE THE PEOPLE are the TRUE DEFENDERS of FREEDOM and DEMOCRACY and our own LIBERTY is our responsibility.  NO ONE ELSE will defend it for us.  WE have to do it.  We have to give the government their INSTRUCTIONS on a daily basis.  They must be ACCOUNTABLE to the shareholders.  THEY MUST pay attention to us, meet our needs, represent US, the middle class.  IF there’s a war someday that is JUSTIFIED of course, we will all go off marching and dying.  I will be the first one in the trenches, if I believe my country is under attack, but I WILL NEVER GO TO ATTACK ANOTHER COUNTRY.  

WE MUST NEVER GO OUT AND ATTACK ANOTHER COUNTRY, unless the intelligence is 100% accurate and can be verified by dozens of other sources.  IN the runup to the IRAQ WAR, everyone was telling BUSH the intelligence he was fabricating would NOT be verifiable, and he didn’t show even the least amount of reticence or pause.  He gave NOT ONE THOUGHT to the brave young men and women who would be dying in this god-forsaken land.  He never gave ONE THOUGHT to the fact that our real enemy was THUMBING HIS NOSE at us from his dirt hovel in PAKISTAN.  He cared not who or where the real enemy was.  As long as he had his ARENA to MAKE MONEY, he felt justified in giving the orders that would send thousands of our bravest and finest folks to their graves here in Arlington National Cemetary.

Today, as you watch Bush laying his ceremonial wreath in Arlington, as you watch him solemnly say a prayer for those who died for his lies, remember that this country was founded on much sterner stuff and know that the FOUNDING FATHERS of this great nation would march into the White House today, yank this hypocrit out of the People’s House by his hair and throw him in jail for this treason and throw away the key.

George Washington, Tom Jefferson, James Madison, John Adams, Patrick Henry, Benjamin Franklin, perhaps the greatest men who ever lived, risked their own lives and fortunes on the notion that KINGS and TYRANTS would NEVER RULE in America.  They could not foresee the day, of course, when King George would reign here again.  These great men knew also that Democracy had to be defended in each generation.  Tom Jefferson said, “Blood should be spilled every 20 years to make sure that the government knows that the people rule here.”

Blood has been spilled in Viet Nam and in Iraq, but it has not been spilled defending our freedom and in fact, so much blood has been spilled taking our freedoms away from us and now this must stop and under President Obama, let us pray that it has stopped and stopped for all future times.

I also want to say today that some of our brave young men will have to die in the pursuit and capture of the men who attacked us on 911 and because of BUSH letting this culprit escape for so long, the PRICE WILL BE GREATER in terms of our men who will have to die in this pursuit.  For this, I condemn President Bush again.  He had Osama Bin Laden wounded and running over the very treacherous mountain pass into Pakistan from Afghanistan in a region known as Tora Bora.  With B-52 bombers floating above like angels in support of our brave young commandoe’s, Osama Bin Laden was MINUTES away from certain death.  

Then, Bush ordered the fateful order on that day and told our Armed Forces to turn the other way and head for IRAQ under the pretenses that there was graver danger over there.  There was no graver danger than in the person of Osama Bin Laden who had caused the collapse of the World Trade center, killing thousands and wounding countless others, including more of our BRAVEST and FINEST first Responders the Police and Firemen of New York City.  These men who died so valiantly in the course of their duty should also be remembered today and they should also NOT DIE IN VAIN.

We must hold HEARINGS into the DECISION MAKING PROCESS of the BUSH ADMINISTRATION.  We must try to unravel why Bush ordered our retreat away from the Real Enemy in the person of one Osama Bin Laden and instructed our troops to die in the deserts of Iraq, two thousand miles away from the enemy.  We must learn how this TREASONOUS DECISION WAS MADE.  We must put an end to SENSELESS and PERSONAL WARS.  We must put an end to TYRANNY in our own LANDS before we can go after tyrants elsewhere.

This is what we must choose to REMEMBER on this VETERANS DAY.  This is the last Veteran’s Day that we will be assaulted with the IMAGES of the greatest TRAITOR in our history laying wreaths at the graves of our brave and selfless veterans.   Let us declare for all time that we ARE NEVER ASSAULTED IN THIS WAY, that our FLAG BE DISGRACED IN THIS WAY again.

Let us DEDICATE that these thousands of BRAVE YOUNG MEN and WOMEN WILL NOT DIE IN VAIN.  Let us DEDICATE their SOULS to the FOUNDING of a New Nation, a nation based on the PRINCIPLES that they believed they were fighting for.  LET’S HAVE A REAL DEMOCRACY in this nation so that these great men and women will have died for SOMETHING, a Real Democracy in which we can all be PROUD.  

ONLY BY CONTROLLING the BEAST of TYRANNY that sent them to their deaths can these souls be redeemed.  Let the Viet Nam Memorial and the Iraq Memorial, yet unbuilt, be our MONUMENTS to the day when all AMERICANS ROSE UP AS ONE and SAID – ENOUGH!  NO MORE DEADLY PRESIDENTIAL TYRANNY, BLUNDERS and TREASON.  Let the promise of America ring out around the world once more.  Let our founding fathers be proud of their progeny for whom and to whom they placed so much.
