What follows is a letter that I sent the Obama Transition Team on Nov. 9th, 2008. It may be the last BLOG I make prior to the Inauguration. I would appeal to every American to read it, understand it, and pass it along. Forgive me for talking plainly and being very passionate about this. The Author.
Dear President Elect Obama,
President Elect Obama I heard on Face The Nation today, from Rahm Emmanual,that DURING the TRANSITION, you may not bother going to the Senate and may stay in Chicago until the Inauguration. Certainly, this is your right, and you must have your reasons. HOWEVER . . .
I would advise that this would be a horrible mistake and here is my reasoning.
1. This economy is failing so fast that in 12 weeks, it could be TOTALLY BEYOND recovery. We’re probably losing somewhere in the neighborhood of half a million jobs per month now. And, lots MORE to reduced hours and reduced salaries, etc. This will translate to more homes lost to foreclosure. This is an ever-escalating slide into a horrible depression, worst than the last one.
2. This translates into human suffering, including children. Many millions of families are suffering right now and many million more over the next few weeks will begin to suffer. The local Salvation Army just reported yesterday that it will have to hold a LOTTERY for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners this year, the first time in history because of the increased demand and dwindling donations.
3. It is my opinion that this economic catastrophe was INTENTIONAL and may have been an attempt to SABOTAGE your administration. Therefore, this period of transition is like no other in history. You don’t have the luxury of being able to wait as other administrations have.
4. During the next 12 weeks, from the Senate Floor, you could lead this present Congress to mitigate the effects of the SABOTAGE as much as is humanly possible. This means you have to level with the American People. We’re starving for some TRUTH from our leaders. You must inform the people about the real problems YOU are going to face during your next 4 years and how much you are going to need us to help you. I’m sure you’re starting to realize that that no one man or even one man backed up by thousands of bureaucrats are going to be able to FIX this.
IF you do NOT educate the people about the details of HOW and WHY GEORGE BUSH made the decisions that he did, your administration will be hamstrung for many months by people who are IGNORNT of the true facts and they will be forced to give you the wrong decisions and you could make things worse. I know you don’t want to do that.
5. Therefore, you must present the FACTS to the American People for several reasons. The major one being that the voters will give you far more latitude if you are seen as LEVELING WITH US. Telling us the TRUTH, as you promised to do the other day in your speech. You cannot and must not continue the LIES that made up the last eight years, nor can you even shelter us from the TRUTH. This would be a horrible mistake.
BUSH LIED TO GET US INTO WAR and he made us AFRAID of WMD to get us to go along with his lies. I WAS AFRAID, and so I SUPPORTED HIM. YOU WERE WISER THAN ME and you did NOT SUPPORT the WAR. THEN, he LIED AGAIN and made us AFRAID this time of MASS JOB EXTINCTION to go along with his BAIL OUT OF HIS BUDDIES in Wall Street. YOU CANNOT and MUST NOT BE SUPPORTIVE OF THAT FRAUD EITHER. You must distance yourself from this kind of Presidency and I know you will.
You need to tell the American people that you will be asking Congress to hold hearings to investigate the role that the BUSH WHITE HOUSE had in this economic disaster. In no uncertain terms you should tell us all that there is reason to believe that a crime has been committed and your administration is going to get to the bottom of it. You can simply leave it with those words, and the rest of us will have to discern what it is that you mean EXACTLY. This can leave the investigation open to any results, so your objectivity does not come into question. HOWEVER, the main body of evidence is widely known by now. It’s simply a matter of INTENT, now. Who’s intent was it and what was their real goal in doing things of such magnitude.
I’m afraid there could be reasons of INTENT that impact National Security. I’m very much afraid of that. And, this is the real reason I keep harping on about this. What did they hope to achieve in destroying the Global Economy? It can’t be JUST FOR THE MONEY that they made in the form of commissions. It can’t be that simple. There must be a hidden agenda by someone in very hidden dark cubby holes in our government. Was it a PENTAGON PLOT to take over the Government by calling for Martial Law? This must be held up as a potential because there may yet come a time when even YOU sir, may have to declare this. People are buying guns at an alarming rate. Many millions of us are afraid of this possibility. Was this their GOAL? Terrorists could not have plotted more successfully if it is.
I think most Americans realize by now that some form of a crime has been committed because the effects of what these people have done are too great. This is no ordinary recession and everything could have been fine if certain perpetrators had not acted in a conspiracy. That conspiracy may extend into the White House and we have the right to know. You have the right to know because it will be the duty of your administration and Congress to take steps so that it can NEVER happen again. Because if this is allowed to go on in the future, there is no hope for democracy in the world at all. ZERO. NADA. It’s all over for freedom and democracy for centuries if we are not very careful what we do going forward.
SO FAR, ALL the MONEY that our Congress gave to the PERPETRATORS is money DOWN THE DRAIN as far as I can tell. It has done nothing the Administration PROMISED IT WOULD. HOW, they played up the FEAR of job loss. Well, that’s a given now. If anything, this BILLIONAIRE bail out has made matters worse. NO ONE IS BUYING AIG’S INSURANCE, because an Insurance Co. has to have HONESTY and INTEGRITY and above all ASSETS. But, the market is finding out it’s all smoke and mirrors. They have no assets, except for the TAXPAYERS BAIL OUT MONEY, and they are going through this like water.
HERE’S ANOTHER SHOE that has to DROP.
AFTER you FIX THIS TRAIN WRECK, you have to CHANGE THE BUSH DEBT to EQUITY (Non-Voting Shares). We cannot and will never be able to PAY BACK the FRAUDULENT DEBT of the BUSH 5 TRILLION DOLLAR BANK HEIST. That’s the dollar amount of the damage as best I can see it. HOWEVER, due to the CREDIT DEFAULT DEBACLE, it could go as high as 65 TRILLION. Your economic advisors should be able to confirm this possibility. THE GROSS NATIONAL PRODUCT of LARGEST ECONOMY IN THE WORLD IS NOT EVEN CLOSE to this amount. NOT EVEN FDR could get us out of this one and it is certain to be the cause of WORLD WAR THREE, unless YOU DIRECT HISTORY DOWN A DIFFERENT PATH.
You can DIVERT HISTORY down the right path of peace and PROSPERITY if you DECLARE a FEDERAL INCORPORATION. Then, ISSUE STOCK to all AMERICAN CITIZENS for their FUTURE EFFORTS at helping to build the NEW ECONOMY, and it has to be the ALTERNATIVE ENERGY ECONOMY, one based on SOLAR, WIND, BIODIESEL, HYDROGEN, NAT GAS, ETC., ENERGY that we can GROW HERE at home. AND, in the INCORPORATION PROCESS, some if not ALL of the NATIONAL DEBT has to be converted to EQUITY.
That means that CHINA and the rest of the WORLD BANKING COMMUNITY WHO TOOK the BUSH FRAUDULENT PAPER, must be forced to take STOCK in AMERICA instead of holding the debt, because we cannot pay this debt and this is what will cause the WORST DEPRESSION IN HISTORY IF NOT WORLD WAR THREE. By GIVING our creditors EQUITY in the REBUILT ECONOMY, everyone wins and we will not be HAMSTRUNG by a lack of capital to do everything that we need to do. The reward for their patience in accepting the Debt to Equity swap? PART of the PROFIT and a better world.
This was the idea that buttoned it all up for me and made the idea of INCORPORATING the GOVERNMENT seem to be actually plausible. AT FIRST, I was thinking that the United States would have to REPUDIATE the BUSH DEFICITS, but then, I thought NO, it wouldn’t be the moral thing to do, even though the people of this country are 100% innocent, we did elect the son-of-a-bitch who did this to us and that lack of concern and due diligence on our part is the proximate cause of all this damage. And so in an INDIRECT WAY, we are responsible and the United States must act responsibly and MAKE it right, somehow. Albeit We The People should really be held harmless, we are bigger than that.
OUR CREDITORS, the central banks, the foreign insurance companies and investment bankers are in the same position right now. They know they’re never going to get paid back in full and this is why the global economies are failing. We can avert TOTAL CHAOS if we give them SOMETHING to keep them on our side. EQUITY in the new American Dream that every American is going to have BUILDING the NEW AMERICA. It’s WIN – WIN, instead of LOSE – LOSE.
NONE OF YOUR CURRENT ECONOMIC ADVISORS will even know what the hell I’m talking about. I GUARANTEE IT. Their PH.D’s will get in the way. And it will take a great deal of planning and creative thinking to make the Federal Government into a CORPORATION, but it can be done in my opinion through a CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT simply giving Congress the Authority to make it happen. I have already worked out some of the Bylaws of the Corporation, for you to start with, and then consulting with a few legal scholars, but it’s doable, I’m very confident of that.
You sir, thanks be to God, are a Constitutional Scholar, and therefore, YOUR opinion on this is the only one that counts at the moment because no one else has ever been in the position you’re in exactly. I beg you to consider this proposal for the sake of this nation, for the sake of your own Presidency, and the millions of good people in this country who elected you to office because they believed in you. We all believe in you. We saw something in your eyes and in your heart that sparked a real revolution. It was so wonderful to watch as it happened and is still happening. You have already started us off in the right direction, but it will take lots more than your personal charm and charisma to keep it going in this new direction. You need REALLY BIG IDEAS and this is a new idea of unbelievable proportion. I know that.
YOU INSPIRED ME TO THINK OF THIS POTENTIAL SOLUTION TO THE GLOBAL CRISIS.
I call it America 2.0, Inc. – Taking Stock In America!
It was your speech at the convention and your web site that made me BELIEVE in YOU. SO, this idea is really YOURS. You said, “I’m NOT asking you to believe in my ability to bring change to Washington, I’m asking you to believe in YOURS.” I believe that you meant that exactly as it’s written. Please, don’t let me down.
I GIVE THIS CONCEPT TO YOU FREELY and ask nothing in return for it, but ONLY that you might consider it, and if you can see the light of wisdom in it, that you may propose it in CONGRESS. AND, I believe strongly the best time to do this is DURING the transition, NOT after you’re in the White House because by then, it may be too late. I fear the imposing Oval Office could have a huge suffocating impact on you and your ideas. It seems to do that to nearly every President. I PRAY it doesn’t happen to you. THIS IS SO NEW and DIFFERENT, I ask only that you consider it for a few days. Talk it up amongst as many trusted friends as you’d like.
I think you’ll come to the same conclusion that I came to. Why NOT? IT is ONLY TRADITION that put up a BERLIN WALL between the Private and Public Sector. To what end? We cannot let it come to this end?
There’s no reason NOT TO make this country the largest and most trusted CORPORATION in the world, a corporation with the greatest assets, mainly its people. We already OWN the world’s GREATEST BRAND. As a corporation, we can hold the bureaucrats and even ourselves to commonly accepted and time-tested business standards, like performance-based rewards and FULL accountability. CURRENTLY bureaucracy accomplishes NOTHING and when they do it is always far too expensive and too late to solve the problem. So, everything just gets worse in this country, when the technology we have created could easily make life easier for everyone. It doesn’t because the Government is concentrating so much of our resources ON WASTE, SENSELESS and ENDLESS WAR, FRAUD and ABUSE, depreciating so much of what we think, produce and do, we can never afford to do anything truly beneficial for the planet. THIS is pathetic. IT IS UNACCEPTABLE in this modern technological age when we have the power to accomplish just about anything.
AND IT WILL JUST GET WORSE, until you create a new kind of government, one where the PEOPLE are the SHAREHOLDERS, where WE VOTE our SHARES, and our interests, and WE CONTROL our KEY EXECUTIVES by holding them to making a PROFIT once in a while so that we can all survive. Sounds crazy at first, I KNOW.
ALL I ask is that you consider it a few days. How could it hurt? I’m sure you know that this situation is going to take a great deal of NEW THINKING. THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX isn’t even going to cut it. FIRST, we have to reinvent the box, and then think outside of that one.
You sir, could ACCOMPLISH the REVERSAL of this TRAIN WRECK HAPPENING EVERY DAY during the TRANSITION, instead of allowing it to FINISH CRASHING and then starting to Pick up the pieces of the train wreck once you’re in office. IT may still be possible to REVERSE THE CURRENT TRAIN WRECK and make the train run backwards away from the CLIFF. Even though you’re now the President-Elect, you are also a Senator, perhaps the most powerful U.S. Senator in our History. USE that POWER for a CHANGE, a REAL CHANGE, we can all believe in. Lord knows we’ve ALL (White or Black) have waited long enough!
The way to do this is to start down the path of INCORPORATION. Giving us a ray of HOPE. A real rescue. Sounds like a SUPERMAN type of FEAT, but I beg you to try. With the help of ALL the American people, we can DO ANYTHING. You only have to ASK US to help.
