Obama announces AMERICA 2.0

I’m not making this up folks.

Obama will announce America 2.0 in his acceptance speech on Wednesday.

You heard it here first.  Tell all your friends to pay strict attention to this major announcement of the UPGRADE to America that we first suggested over two years ago.

America 2.0 is founded on the premise that our present form of government is broken and must be upgraded to a more modern technology.  Just like we all upgrade our Windows Operating system every few years, we need to Upgrade the Political Operating System that I call America Ver. 1.0 created in 1776.

The founding fathers did such a good job that it is to their credit that their operating system needed no major tweaks for over two hundred years.  Minor Version revisions of course were made over the course of our history.  We had to amend the operating system to Abolish Slavery in 1860.  In the 30′s we had to allow women to vote.   Most recently, we had to allow anyone old enough to fight for this country to vote.

We added the income tax to our system in 1913 and so on.  Overall, the major upgrade to our operating system has never been necessary – until now.  The Two-Party monopoly of ideas, the extra-legal allowance for lobbyists, the way that our representatives are allowed to take bribes and then vote AGAINST the best interests of the people, these are all things that have only reared up in our generation.

The invention of the Internet, TV, cellphones, all have had their impact on our lives, but they have not really impacted our political operating system.  UNTIL NOW.

Today it is possible for all of us to PROPOSE legislation and then PLACE our best ideas on the National Ballot.  This is real democracy and it supersedes the necessity for elected representatives who mainly run for office in order to enhance their own personal financial agendas.  The most favored agenda for the people as a whole is shuffled under the rug.

With the announcement of America 2.0 by Barack Obama on Wednesday, the people will finally have their champion of real democracy, real change, change we can believe in.

Obama will speak about the duty of each and every citizen to help bring about this historical upgrade to our operating system – National Ballot Measures, and the new economy that it will promise, an economy based on fulfilling the needs of ordinary people, not just the needs of the major corporations, who are really representative of a global agenda, no necessarily an American one.

America 2.0, will finally give the people of this planet a method for expressing their needs and then filling those needs through their own common sense solutions.  The best examples of the highest and best use of National Ballot Measures can be found at our web site:  www.realdemocracyinamerica.com

But, I’ll give you one here as food for thought.

What if, instead of the choice of Barack Obama and John McCain in November, on the same ballot, you saw the choice of these two great men for President, but you also saw the choice for a new law that would become effective in the same time frame as the new President took office.

Let’s say the first National Ballot Measure was all about bringing our troops home within 90 days, no exceptions.  OR, let’s say there were TWO NATIONAL BALLOT MEASURES.  The first to bring our Troops Home and the 2nd one to begin the process of a NATIONAL HEALTH CARE SYSTEM.

How would you vote?

VOTE NOW for NATIONAL BALLOT MEASURES so that we are NEVER AGAIN made slaves to people like George W. Bush, George H.W. Bush, Ronald Reagan, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, ever again.
