The McCain camp was fond of saying that Barack Obama hung out with Radicals like Bill Ayers. That was his last ditched attempt to wrangle the White House from Sen. Obama, but in my opinion, this may have HELPED Barack Obama more than hurt his chances because I think most of us are now RADICAL in our thinking about our Government, or if not, perhaps we should be?
I for one have done a great deal of RADICAL thinking these last few years because George W. Bush forced me there. We certainly don’t want another President like this one who cared only for his own financial gratification. This is why he allowed the Oil Price Run up. He made money for his CRONIES because they knew the FIX was IN. George W. Bush stated in public that he was not going to do a damn thing about rising oil prices. AND, now he’s DEVALUING BANK ASSETS and other FINANCIAL ASSETS through his GOLDMAN SACHS relationship along with former Goldman Sachs CEO, Hank Paulson. AND, his father is BUYING UP these ASSETS that he the younger BUSH has DEVALUED so quickly and ferociously.
ONCE OUT OF OFFICE, Younger and Senior BUSH stand to make BILLIONS from the QUICK SALE of ASSETS they are now purchasing through their TRUST, the Carlyle Group. As soon as the economy turns around, these assets that they acquired for PENNIES on the DOLLAR will suddenly again be worth BILLIONS, perhaps even TRILLIONS. You have to give him credit, George W. Bush doesn’t sit around worrying about ideas like honor, integrity, honesty, love of country, responsibility to his citizens or anything like that. He’s a DECIDER, all right and he decided to make money like never before in history and he wasn’t going to get a little timid when it was apparent, he would have to RUIN the GLOBAL ECONOMY TO DO IT. Didn’t bother him at all. Wouldn’t be prudent to let a little thing like that discourage him.
So, at this time in our history, a little RADICAL THINKING is called for in my humble opinion and I hope that Barack Obama is not a closet RADICAL. I hope he’s the real deal. I’m hoping that he will come out in the first few days of his administration and give us SOME REAL CHANGE, the CHANGES we REALLY NEED.
I give credit to Joe The Plumber for getting at the TRUTH of the matter. As Barack Obama told him, we need to SPREAD THE WEALTH around. This doens’t have to mean SOCIALISM. CONTROLLED CONSERVATIVE COUNTRY CLUB SOCIALISM, is what we have now under BUSH. BUSH has been spreading OUR WEALTH UP to his BUDDIES and to himself.
SPREADING THE WEALTH, by President Obama’s definition COULD MEAN, spreading the wealth around to ALL THE PEOPLE, in a FAIR and EQUITABLE MANNER, instead of to JUST THE FEW, the connected, the wealthy.
Imagine a State of the Union Address in January of 2010, when the President Barack Obama tells us: “The state of our Union is sound. We made a PROFIT this year of 500 Billion Dollars and therefore I can and will declare a very large DIVIDEND and send it to you our shareholders in the next few days. Thanks to all your hard work, the United States is AGAIN, the STRONGEST Economy in the world.”
At this time, I have published a new book entitled, “America 2.0, Inc. – Take Stock In America!” Given all that is going on in your neck of the woods with a failing Wall Street, a looming Depression, and all of it the direct result of FAILED POLICIES and total lack of any economic wisdom in the WHITE HOUSE and possibly even malfeasance in office, I think this would be a HOT TOPIC of great interest to your viewers.
In my new book, I talk about how President Elect Obama has asked each of us to help him in his new endeavor. In my new book, I am suggesting that we INCORPORATE the United States Government and issue COMMON STOCK to all American Citizens. This would allow Obama to get to the ROOT of the EVIL in this country, which is greed of a FEW cronies in high places which is UNCONTROLLED. This one simple change would have many positive and lasting consequences for our democracy and our economy.
As soon as you make the American people SHAREHOLDERS, give them a real stake in their government, YOU start to SPREAD THE WEALTH around in a way that is totally fair and equitable. Owning a share in our government, every individual would suddenly feel empowered and a participant in the fruits of their labor, whether they were a ditch-digger, a taxi cab driver, a teacher, a doctor, a lawyer. Everyone would want to be the best at their work because it would help propel the BOTTOM LINE of the economy and make their bottom line improve greatly. We all want a piece of the American pie. And, in a true democracy, don’t we all deserve it?
By incorporating the United States of America, we give all of the people that ‘Piece Of The Rock’ and along with it a great deal more voice, more say in the direction this country takes. On a yearly or quarterly basis, we would have a government that would have to report their economic progress to us and we could approve or disapprove of their policies as SHAREHOLDERS of the Corporation, not just voters who have to wait for someone like Obama to come around ONCE in a LIFETIME. Why not have this kind of positive energy, every quarter?
I was a guest on The Today Show years ago and was interviewed by Jane Pauley. At the time, I was pushing for National Ballot Measures. I was initially set to debate a U.S. Senator, but the producer at the time, Michael Pressman, couldn’t find anyone in the Senate who would debate AGAINST giving people the right to VOTE DIRECTLY on ISSUES. (TO THIS DAY, all Senators and Presidents have refused to bring the idea up in public and the topic has only aired once with me on the Today Show.) So, the UNITED STATES SENATE sent over a so-called Constitutional lawyer who I debated quite effectively, I thought, because I am the expert on this and he had no idea what was happening. All he could say is that “The Founding Fathers didn’t intend,” and I cut him off in mid-sentence and told him that the Founding Fathers were no longer alive, and so their intent is irrelevant, but if they were alive, they would be appalled at the tyranny of the ONE MAN RULE that this democracy has degenerated into. He never spoke up again. HIS ONLY THOUGHT was ludicrous because there is no reason why the People of this country shouldn’t have a REAL DEMOCRACY, one in which we vote, not only for a Republican or a Democrat, but we should also have issues on the NATIONAL BALLOT to CHOOSE up or down, YEA or NEA, pass or no pass, without the AID of LOBBYISTS. And, that’s what they’re really worried about. This would remove their BIGGEST SOURCE OF MONEY.
SO, why have BALLOT MEASURES on the state level ONLY? This makes us an unFINISHED, raw, amateur democracy, does it not? IF we had for example the BALLOT MEASURE of BRINGING THE TROOPS HOME in 90 days, A COUPLE YEARS AGO, immediately we learned that BUSH LIED to us to get them into that HELL HOLE where they are SITTING DUCKS, don’t you think the people would have voted to bring them home YEARS AGO and save us all this economic turmoil and international disgrace?
This just one example. We could have had a National Health Care system decades ago. We could have a much improved TRANSPORTATION system. We might even have SOLAR POWERED CARS by now, IF we had the right to vote on BALLOT MEASURES on the FEDERAL BALLOT. BUT, this is just a small PART of the change that incorporating our government would do for us. ALLOWING common sense solutions to make it to the BALLOT to address our problems in a TIMELY and cost-effective way is just the MEANS to an END. That end would be a Government that truly was OF, BY and FOR the people. Barack Obama is all about that. He just needs a little push in the right direction that this discussion could open up for him and us.
At this point in our history, I think that these ideas have a much greater chance to take root. We now have a President who has said on his web site and in his speeches, “I’m asking you to believe NOT just in my ability to bring about REAL CHANGE in Washington. I’m asking you to believe in yours.”
I have taken President Obama at his word. I accept his challenge. I STRONGLY believe in OUR ability to bring this kind of real change to Washington. It’s the utmost and overwhelmingly top priority type of change we need. Everythiung else pales in comparison, because with this change, we can all formulate BETTER SOLUTIONS to everything else that hits us. I believe that President Obama would be encouraged to see us all discuss this idea in the media. He’s the one who said, when Joe The Plumber asked him about taxes, “We need to spread the wealth around.”
What better way to spread the wealth around than in TAKING STOCK IN AMERICA?
Why don’t we INCORPORATE the UNITED STATES Government and make the PRESIDENT a CEO. Only a CEO, with experience as a CEO is really qualified to run this government. President Bush PROVED that point so well. He was the WORST CEO in history, destroying all of his business ventures so fast and furiosly, they BOUGHT HIM OUT to get rid of him every time, so why are we surprised that he would RUIN OUR COUNTRY AS WELL.
HIS GOLDEN PARACHUTE has cost us TRILLIONS. We need to change the way we do business in America. Real how in the new book. America 2.0, Inc. – Take Stock In America. You’ll be glad you did. Let’s start MAKING MONEY for ourselves and not just the SUPER-RICH. Let’s start reaping some DIVIDENDS for ALL the PEOPLE.
If that’s a RADICAL IDEA, so be it.
