I’m not making this up folks.
The McBush Administration has just bailed out Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, two of the largest Mortgage Insurance companies in the country.
Economists tell us that THIS CORPORATE WELFARE CHECK will cost the American People over ONE TRILLION DOLLARS before it’s over. Right now, they’re only admitting to 200 Billion, but that’s exactly what they said about the WAR IN IRAQ. It would “ONLY” cost the American Taxpayer around 200 Billion, TODAY, it’s well over a trillion and by most estimates when you account for Veterans Benefits just voted into law by Congress will cost us all over TWO TRILLION, over time.
AND, the BAIL OUT OF OTHER CORPORATIONS like ENRON and the JOHN McCAIN/CHARLES KEATING Savings and Loan debacle ALONE has cost over a TRILLION DOLLARS in the PAST. THIS PUTS our DEBT UNDER THE REPUBLICAN CONTROLLED CONGRESS TO NEARLY TEN TRILLION DOLLARS. ALL UNDER THE REPUBLICAN WATCH.
THIS IS MONEY that did NOT have to be spent. AND, it is probably going to EVENTUALLY LEAD to the BANKRUPTURE of the UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT.
WHAT CAN WE DO ABOUT THIS? I SAY, LET’S START MAKING THE POLITICAL PARTIES LIABLE FOR THE ADDITIONAL DEBT THEY CAUSE OUR TREASURY, during their term of CONTROL.
IF WE HAD THIS ONE OVER-RIDING ECONOMIC PRINCIPLE, that “They WHO DEAL ECONOMIC DISASTERS, OWN THEM,” then and only then will these political leaders act more responsibley to the AMERICAN PEOPLE.
IT ALSO MEANS that DURING the BUSH ADMINISTRATION, the CONTROLLING PARTY who squandered a 5 BILLION DOLLAR SURPLUS HANDED TO THEM BY BILL CLINTON, (who had turned around the ELDER BUSH DEFICITS of 500 Billion) and who then IMMEDIATELY RAN UP this TWO TRILLION DOLLAR ADDITION (over and above his Republican Father’s Debt) TO THE NATIONAL DEBT, should be GIVEN THE BILL TO PAY, held liable and not allowed to BE IN OFFICE AGAIN, UNTIL THEY PAID BACK EVERY CENT THEY SQUANDERED TO THE AMERICAN TREASURY.
SOME SHOULD EVEN GO TO JAIL FOR THE AMOUNT OF WASTE, FRAUD and ABUSE, they delivered to the AMERICAN TREASURY and the AMERICAN PEOPLE.
When President George W. Bush lied to us about going to war in IRAQ, and squandered nearly ONE TRILLION DOLLARS of our TREASURE, paying for his BLUNDER with a CREDIT CARD, should not that be called CHECK FRAUD?
WHEN RICHARD NIXON DID ESSENTIALLY the SAME THING with the VIET NAM WAR and the complicity ONCE AGAIN of the REPUBLICAN PARTY, shouldn’t THAT PARTY BE HELD RESPONSIBLE and FORCED TO PAY IT BACK? ESPECIALLY WHEN INTENTIONAL DEFRAUDING of the American People is their STRATEGY for POWER?
These are questions YOU the VOTERS must ask yourselves before you go into the poll and pull the lever for WHICH PARTY YOU THINK should contorl this country again for the NEXT 4 YEARS, A DEMOCRATIC PARTY, who OVERCAME the DEBT HANDED US BY GEORGE H.W. BUSH Sr. and turned it into a SURPLUS, during their ADMINISTRATION? OR the REPUBLICANS who were HELL BENT TO TURN the CLINTON SAVINGS PLAN into EVEN GREATER DEBT than the FATHER BUSH, and EVEN SPENT MORE MONEY BY GOVERNMENT CREDIT CARDS and INCOMPETENCE AND FRAUD to the TUNE of the GREATEST DEBT INCREASE IN U.S. HISTORY?
