I’m not making this up folks.
I was going to give Sen. McCain and President Bush a break being that it’s Father’s Day today and they are both fathers.
Then, I realized that the Founding Fathers are turning over in their graves at what these two men are doing to our country and therefore, I owed my allegiance and loyalty to the Founding Fathers of this great nation rather than to the two Fathers of the Republican Neo-Nazi movement to destroy this wondrous thing called the American Economy, the greatest engine of change and prosperity the world has ever known just to make us all slaves.
Bush and McCain don’t deserve a reprieve from me and so I won’t give it to them. There is not much time left on their schedule to destroy this country. One more Republican administration will just about FINISH US for good. Nixon began the process by sending hundreds of billions of dollars overseas to finance his little adventure in Viet Nam. After killing millions of innocent men, women and children in VietNam, Laos and Cambodia, public opinion finally rallied around the notion that this was not a justifiable war, that Nixon had misled us and lied to us, that he had no competence as Commander-In-Chief and couldn’t win even if it was justifiable and therefore, we IMPEACHED NIXON for a lesser crime of burglary and got his fat butt out of the White House, but not until after he nearly crippled the American economy for all time. We’re still paying OFF HIS NATIONAL DEBT and worse the hundreds billions more in Veteran’s benefits for that war the hundreds of thousands of Viet Nam vets who may have gone on to be inventors, teachers, factory workers, farmers, doctors, etc. are now forgotten and shunned to this day and living on the streets of this nation contributing nothing.
Doesn’t this all sound familiar? President Bush, taking a page out of Nixon’s book of of how to fail as a President went and found the same ADVISORS and STAFF that worked for NIXON and allowed himself to be led down the same disastrous path. Rumsfeld and Cheney wanting another shot at fame and fortune and being in the history books, convinced Little Bush to do exactly what Nixon did, but, their argument was, DO IT EVEN BIGGER. “Nixon didn’t cost this country enough. But, he made a good stab at it, AND you can ruin them now,” they whispered in his pointed little ears.
And so, that’s what Lil’ Bush did. And here we are today on Father’s Day with very little to celebrate other than the very good fortune that fewer of our brave young men are dying than a few months ago. But, they are still dying for this man’s corruption and lies.
BUT, there may be a ray of hope. There is a man who voted against the BUSH CRAP in his pants and is now running for President. I’m not saying this Obama fellow is perfect. He spent far too much time in a silly church in Chicago that harbored some very questionable pastors. But, when you take these sermons in context, in the Black Man’s context, nothing they say is all that inaccurate. We have treated the Black Man in this country very very poorly for centuries and it’s time, we started to feel their pain. Not just the White Man’s pain. And, I’ll tell you why it would be good for this country to really FEEL for the Black Man.
As soon as we do feel for the Black Man and are really and truly repentant for what we did, our country can become the strongest and the greatest country of all time. Some would argue that America already is the greatest country of all time and I would be the last one to argue against that, but just imagine how truly great and shining we could be as a People, not only as a Nation once we admit to the world that what we did to the Black men and women of this nation was wrong and that we’re sorry and that we owe them a huge debt of thanks because it was the Black men and women we tore from their roots in Africa against their will, who built this country into what it is today. We may have had the best thinkers in the world, our Founding Fathers, but they were not the best workers. They knew it, and so they all employed slaves on their farms, every last one of them while declaring Freedom and Democracy and Liberty in all of their speeches and writings. What they meant was, Freedom and Democracy for the White Man only. Black people were not invited.
But, anyway, I digress. Over the centuries this nation has seen to extend Freedom and LIberty to the Black folks who chose to remain here after they were freed. But, did we give them equality in the eyes of everyone? I don’t think so. Thanks to this great man, Senator Obama and others who came before him like Martin Luther King, Jesse Jackson, George Washington Carver and others, we can begin to heal this great wound and start to admit to the world just how wrong we were and just how great we are to become aware of this great wrong and start to act like real human people, people with a soul.
The soul of this nation, the eyes of God himself are upon us.
Let us pray on this Father’s Day that we, the Father’s of our children will rise above the pettiness and the baseness of humanity and climb into the vaulted throne of the greatest and wisest and kindest and most loving people in the world.
We must do this, or we will all die. And, that’s exactly what Tom Jefferson, Ben Franklin, James Madison and the rest of them would be telling us all today if they were alive to tell us anything at all. I feel as though I know these great men. Born in Boston, Mass, you can’t help but pick up on some of the DNA of the great men who started the great American Revolution.
I tell you one more thing about them too. They were the bravest of men and the most gracious and kind and forward looking men, founders of the future. They knew that they could be shot or hung for their criticisms and sedition against King George of Merry Old England. Indeed, he sent over hundreds of thousands of soldiers to find and arrest or hang these men who are the Founding Fathers of modern Democracy in this world. And, we are their heirs. We are their sons and daughters. They would want us to continue their revolution toward more Freedom, Liberty and Justice for all. With everything they had to work with, with King George’s armies chasing after them, trying to kill them, this was all they could give us. And, that’s amazing, isn’t it. That they could give us so much coming from so little.
We have it so much easier today with modern technology. We could help expand the American Experiment in Democracy in millions of ways using the Internet, telephones, cars, busses, Solar Energy, etc.
So, why aren’t more of us doing that? I can only guess that we are not as brave and fatherly as those who went before. So, today on Father’s Day, I implore all fathers and all mothers to join with us and become the founding fathers and mothers of the next set of generations, who will almost certainly look upon us as great founders as well.
It’s either do this, or let our children suffer the fate of countless other civilizations in history who allowed their leaders to run them over the cliff and into extinction. If the Republican Neo-Nazi Conspiracy has any more time given to them by ourselves, the electorate, they will delay no longer the final plans for the dismantling of this country and the sale of our country to the Arabs and their oil money. They will live in great mansions all over the world, but the rest of us will live in the dark and dank swill of their sewage.
I don’t know about you, but I REFUSE to let them do this to my children. For the greatest reward in life is to be remembered kindly by one’s children. Win or lose this great fight, I can only hope that my children remember me as someone who tried his best to give them the kind of world that they deserve, not the kind of world that I inherited, filled with hate, prejudice unlimited greed and lies.
As one of the greatest of our Founding Fathers said, “Give me Liberty or give me death.” When Patrick Henry expressed this greatest of human sentiments, he meant it. And we have some small portion of Liberty and I indeed have the Freedom to express these words to you, because of these men.
So, I say to you now, “Give me Real Democracy, or give me Death. Let’s turn this country upside down by allowing the PEOPLE MORE POWER, the POWER to decide some of their greatest issues on NATIONAL BALLOT MEASURES.” That’s what I say.
If you love your country, you will spend just a few minutes of each day from now until the election doing your best to counter the millions of dollars McCain will spend on the Neo-Nazi Propaganda swill. It will take millions of us to counter their MILLIONS of DOLLARS gained at our expense. Where does all this money come from? From you and me, partner, every time we fill up a tank of gas, much of this money goes to the Neo-Nazi conspiracy in the form of bribes from Oil Companies and other Big Business interests.
Wake up America. We can only hope and pray that you wake up before November.
