For his contribution to help stop Global Warming, DOE Secretary appointed by President Obama and given two hundre BILLION DOLLARS by the Obama Emergency Economic Stimulus plan to find ENERGY SOLUTIONS, has rejected Electrifying the Freeways and has put forth his own plan to PAINT ALL THE ROOFS of the planet white.
First of all, this is not a joke. This was a speech he made just a few days ago. You can google “Secretary Steven Chu proposes painting all roofs white.” and you’ll read it for yourself.
Meanwhile, instead of investing even a tiny fraction the hundreds of billions on research and development for Electrified Freeways as proposed by this author, Steven Chu allows his DOE to reject this plan to convert all gas powered cars to electric power in five years.
Please review our Proposal HERE for Electrifying the Freeways and then send an EMAIL to Secretary Chu to get his brain out of where the sun don’t shine and onto some really practical solutions. For example, if you were going to have everyone on the planet paint their roofs white, wouldn’t you first have them install Solar Panels to produce free and clean Electric Power? Then, the space that is left for your white paint scheme could be more easily completed and be 100 times more effective.
This isn’t rocket Science Secretary Chu.
