I’m not making this up folks. (Wish I were)
I was driving around the day that Congress DEFIED the WHITE HOUSE, feeling pretty good about that and listening to the radio.
I mused that this MIRACLE couldn’t last long and they would probably come back and pass it after they got over all their FINGER-POINTING and name calling. THEN, A very WISE PERSON called in and said, “Since we’re throwing around all this money, why don’t we just go ahead and NATIONALIZE the OIL COMPANIES, just take them over. Wouldn’t that be better than nationalizing all this DEBT that no one wants? I mean, if we’re going to go into SOCIALISM, why not do it where we can make some money?”
The Talk Show host laughed on the air, but when I switched off the radio, it started to SINK IN. Why not NATIONALIZE the INDUSTRY that PUT US INTO THIS MESS, instead of the CAPITAL INDUSTRY that is JUST ONE of the VICTIMS.
Think about it, folks, Congress almost NATIONALIZED the BUSH WAR DEBT because they said, that they had RE-STRUCTURED the BAIL OUT so that the Tax Payer MIGHT MAKE A PROFIT SOMEDAY. On JUNK BONDS, sure we will.
BUT, that’s NEVER going to happen, especially with the DUFUS administration they now have in control of the government. SO, WHY NOT DO SOME NATIONALIZING that WOULD BE GUARANTEED TO MAKE THE TAX PAYERS A PROFIT? If we The People owned the OIL COMPANIES, we WOULD DEFINITELY GET OUR MONEY BACK PLUS A HUGE PROFIT over time.
AND, when you think about it, we have a MONOPOLY Government controlled, Electric and Gas Utility Industry in this country because PEOPLE HAVE TO HAVE HEAT and LIGHTS for their homes and the CITIZENS cannot be HELD HOSTAGE to MARKET RATES, and so the same LOGIC can be applied to ENERGY COST of GETTING TO OUR JOBS and GOING SHOPPING, the VERY BASIS of the ECONOMY is dependent on OIL and it struck me that NATIONALIZING the OIL COMPANIES is an even better idea than REPUDIATING THE DEBT.
WE have to DO ONE OR THE OTHER, folks, you know that because the DEBT can NEVER BE PAID OFF FROM OUR INCOME TAXES, HOWEVER IT COULD BE PAID BACK from OIL COMPANY PROFITS that WE THE PEOPLE ALLOWED THEM TO HAVE. It’s just that it would be CONTROLLED PRICING, no more RUN UPS in the PRICE of OIL based on PHONY COMMODITIES MANIPULATIONS and SECRET DEALS WITH THE ARABS. THE PRICE would be simply based on honest SUPPLY and DEMAND.
The AMERICAN OIL COMPANIES EARN ALMOST ONE TRILLION DOLLARS PER YEAR NET AFTER EXPENSES AND TAXES. So, by owning the OIL COMPANIES, those PROFITS would GO TO PAY OFF THE NATIONAL DEBT in approximately ELEVEN YEARS.
IF We The American People decided to LET THEM GO PRIVATE AGAIN AFTER THE BUSH DEBT IS PAID OFF, then SO BE IT. I’ll always agree to what the MAJORITY of my FELLOW CITIZENS want to do.
THE 
OINT IS THIS IS OUR ONLY CHANCE OF PAYING OFF THE NATIONAL DEBT. Someday, our CREDIT as a NATION CAN BE RESTORED and we’ll go down in history as being the most incredible ECONOMIC ACHIEVEMENT IN 10,000 YEARS. Imagine how good it would feel to know that we looked into the jaws of the BEAST of incredible DEFEAT and were able to come out of it clean and free. That’s the AMERICAN DREAM, my friends.
SURE, there will be lots of squealing like stuck pigs from the Oil Company EXECUTIVES WHOSE GOLDEN PARACHUTES WILL BE COMPLETELY OUT THE WINDOW. Pardon the Pun. They won’t be able to run up the cost of heating our homes, and our daily commutes any more and retiring like KINGS and QUEENS for doing it.
NO SIR, if We The People OWN the MEANS of PRODUCING and TRANSPORTING this vital commodity to our local refueling stations, you can bet we’ll do the right thing by and for OURSELVES, not a precious few lucky jerks who were born on the right side of the tracks.
AND, this would GIVE US TIME to develop ALTERNATIVE FORMS OF ENERGY that can ONE DAY REPLACE oil and gasoline and other Older, less reliable and rapidly depleting forms of energy.
I SAY – it’s either REPUDIATE THE BUSH OIL and WAR DEBT, OR NATIONALIZE the OIL COMPANIES SO THAT WE HAVE A CHANCE TO SAVE OUR ECONOMY and PAY BACK THE DEBT OVER TIME.
IT’S going to be ONE or the OTHER and I think the path of LEAST OBJECTIONS is the NATIONALIZATION of the OIL INDUSTRY.

WAKE UP AMERICA. Now, is not the time to BLINK. STAND FIRM and UNITED. We must start the DISCUSSION about how and when and where to REPUDIATE THE BUSH DEBT that HE and his fellow REPUBLICAN CRONIES have forced on the American People.
I SAY, let the BUSH FAMILY PAY IT OFF, since it was their use of OUR CREDIT CARD, and their OIL COMMODITIES and STOCK MANIPULATION that has brought us to this point. Don’t pay no heed to their LIES and DECEIT. The time for real TRUTH and REAL CHANGE is here. But, we’re not talking about the MINOR LITTLE CHANGES that BARACK OBAMA would deliver, although those are ALL NECESSARY and this is why WE’RE BACKING HIM for PRESIDENT. We know we will get MORE OF THE SAME FROM McCAIN.
BUT, we NEED to GO MUCH, MUCH FURTHER in CHANGING the SYSTEM than even BARACK OBAMA has in mind. We NEED TO CHANGE THE FUNDAMENTAL SYSTEM of Corrupt Cronie Capitalism that is so easily MANIPULATED and is manipulated by all PRESIDENTS. We need to MAKE our LEADERS ACCOUNTABLE.
The NEXT ACT of this or any RESPONSIBLE Congress should be to REPUDIATE THE BUSH DEBT, OR NATIONALIZE the OIL COMPANIES so that WE CAN pay it off – NOT give it our stamp of approval and put it on our TAB. Let’s get a CONGRESS who will STOP THE INSANITY and BEGIN AMERICA 2.0, Inc.
