US TROOPS are sneaking out of Iraq under cover of darkness tonight. It’s been over 7 long years of the Bush War. And, NOW it’s finally time to ask ourselves – What was gained?
I’m going to make it brief because you will hear this question asked many more times all over the web, not on the National Media, because they are all bought and paid for by the War Profiteers – but all over the Web blogs, you’ll start to see that question being asked.
I can answer it in one word – NOTHING. Nothing was gained and in fact MUCH was lost.
Over 3,000 dead and over 100,000 WOUNDED. We spent nearly ONE TRILLION DOLLARS and our gasoline prices are actually higher, so we didn’t go in there for OIL either.
The lesson of this Bush War is that WE THE PEOPLE of this great nation have to be FAR MORE CAREFUL who we pick to be our COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF. George W. Bush was the worst President in our long history and in fact is a TRAITOR to the great name of America and to the Office that he used and abused.
He could have KILLED or CAPTURED Osama Bin Laden and his band of Terrorists and that would have been the end of LONG LINES at the AIRPORTS. It would have bee the end of THIS HORRIBLE ECONOMY also BEFORE IT EVEN STARTED.
BUT, during the 8 years of this crazy MISCOMMANDER-IN-CHIEF, George W. Bush, he managed to ruin the world’s economy as well as our own, and kill thousands of innocent civilians in these countries and make MILLIONS of AMERICANS HOMELESS.
IF I had been Barack Obama – IN my INAUGURATION SPEECH, I would have told the world that I was REVERSING every Bush Decision and scrapping every BUSH policy. That’s what our present Commander-In-Chief SHOULD have said, bringing back ALL the troops, over 2 years AGO, starting the day AFTER the inauguration. I would have announced a mission to find and arrest Osama Bin Laden as BUSH FAILED TO DO, and that would have also signaled to WALL STREET that the WAR PROFITEERING was OVER TOO. Our economy would have been spared these awful years since. AND, there are many more awful years to COME, I’m afraid.
UNLESS – WE AS A PEOPLE, BAND TOGETHER and DEMAND MORE FROM OUR LEADERS.

After the VIET NAM WAR, I thought, “Well, certainly NOW everyone at least in this country should have learned about the futility of War. BUT, it appears, we learned nothing. OR, to be more accurate, OUR LEADERS learned NOTHING, and in fact, are determined to DESTROY US ALL.
